    You know, I never thought about that. But it was somewhat overwhelming to be hit by “pop” all over the place in Nebraska when I was already in the political (very) minority…also didn’t help that they didn’t understand my Californian slang.

    I’ve told Katie her penchant for calling “soda” “pop” meant she was the devil incarnate.
