This Must Be Incredibly Annoying When Americans Do It
A Parisian man just attempted to ask me… something about my computer. I replied that I don’t speak French (in French. One of the few things I know how to say). He then spoke more loudly and slowly.
Sorry, dude, I don’t speak loud slow French either.

Not even with helpful mime-like gestures?

Well, he tapped on the apple logo, and I said “Apple?” “Pomme?” “Macintosh?”, but that didn’t seem to be it. He held up three fingers.
So, gestures, yes, but not helpful ones.

Well I think he was telling you he had three Apple laptops. But it could just be my interpretation.
Still can’t get onto flickr Photos. Not sure what my user name and password were but htey say I have one. Oh well.
Any further writing on the trip?

I once had a massage therapist who told me not to do a certain movement with my knee because it kept coming out of place when I did it. Well I was unable to prevent it happening so the next time I came in to see him he yelled it at me slowly. Hmmm… not slow/stupid or deaf. Not sure what he was trying to accomplish with that display of behavior.
