Playing With Power

Posted in General at 10:55 am by Ian

Right now, Nintendo is doing a promotion where they’ll give you a Gamecube disc that has Zelda, Zelda II, and both N64 Zelda games if you sign up for a subscription to Nintendo Power. Not that I care about Nintendo Power, but $20 for four awesome games (ok, two awesome games, a weird sidescroller, and an uninspired sequel) is a nice deal.

I wonder why they include the two N64 zelda games but not the SNES one, “Link to the Past?” The second n64 one, majora’s mask was kinda a meh game, not nearly as good as the snes one.

My guess is that they had intended it to be an anthology disc with all the Zelda games, but they couldn’t secure the rights to the third one, maybe. That’s the only one they’re missing, right?

Well, there were also a few on the Gameboy. I played through the first gameboy one way back in the day. I thought it was a pretty good game. The feel of it was very similar to the SNES one.

Oh yeah. Well, all the color Zelda games, then.

Actually, I think a few of the gameboy ones are gameboy color, so I think what you mean is all the non-gamboy ones.

We do not mention gameboy color on this website, young man. Now go and cleanse your mouth with honey.

Pray tell me, what has gameboy color done to offend thee so?

    How about Gameboy Advance?
