“Gosh,” thinks Ian, “it sure is taking a long time for those DNS changes to propagate through the internet. You’d think I could take that redirect down by now.”

And so, he went searching, and found that the DNS entries he updated were, in fact, the ones held by the other free DNS service, the one that he tried to use originally, the one that never worked correctly, the one that his registrar knows nothing about, and yet, because he never bothered to tell them otherwise, the one that still has his account information and was happy to let him log in and change some meaningless values in a table somewhere on their database.

Problem (hopefully) solved.

I think you managed to kill off all the other evilblogs in the process of getting yours working.

    Mwa ha ha ha.

Ok, so Nikhil’s is now available at http://www.evilblog.net/ngheewala (note the lack of a ~).

Both Liza and Tim elected to not have me move their weblogs over. I still have them backed up on my server, but they’re no longer online anywhere.
