Blog Ex Machina

Posted in General at 10:16 am by Ian

Like some kind of bird rising from the ashes of another bird, Evil Blog has returned. And, like, for good, this time.

Stay tuned for general wackiness as Ian attempts to get this new blogging software to work.

    Do comments work?

Do you realize you just linked to yourself??

Really, this is getting out of hand.

Props for the living blog, however.

    It’s a Google PageRank circle-jerk!

Wow dude, this is pretty ugly. And the CSS for the comment window isn’t even done right; the text window stretches beyond the edge of the colored line down the right side… That being said, what do you think of wordpress as software? I’m still meandering between putting up my own blogware, and continuing to use blogspot.com… suggestions?

  5. Ian said,

Yeah. I haven’t figured out how to fix the text box yet.

So far, though, WordPress seems like a very nice interface. It’s a bit of a trick to learn the templates because they’re so different from MT. The only warning I would give you is that Blogspot is free, but you’ve gotta pay for a server to run your own.

  6. Ian said,

Ok. Fixed that. Anything else obviously wrong?

    congratulations?
    🙂

Hooray for the return of Evil Blog. However, I guess it’s time to mourn the passing of ‘Nikhil: the Blog.’

Stay tuned for the upcoming ‘Nikhil: the more-than-just-a-blog comprehensive webpage’ due out soon.
