Fuck That

Posted in General at 6:22 pm by Ian

Well, there goes one superceding priority.

That? Why not this? Or her? Or it?

  2. Ian said,

“This”, “that”. It’s all the same.

S’pose I could’ve said “her”. But that would be misdirected. And besides, it seems I shan’t be.

  3. Liza said,

Stop with the weird-ass formatting! Bring back the original evil blog!

  4. Ian said,

    I like this formatting.

    It’s pretty.

  5. Liza said,

It takes away from the art!

  6. Dan said,

Hey, where’d you find the snazzy recent comments plugin? I haven’t been able to find a decent once since the upgrade.

    Upgrade like a :ninja: !

  7. Dan said,

aww! no more ninja smiley face?!

  8. Ian said,

The comments plugin is Fuzzy Recent Comments. It seems pretty nifty, and does some cool grouping by post.

    The :ninja: will return!

  9. Matt said,

While I’ll not contribute to the discussion about whether or not this is actually pretty, it’s pretty clear that for Evil Blog, this lay out is not nearly evil enough.

  10. Matt said,

And I’m still getting the annoying white page that takes me nowhere after I post.

  11. Patrick said,

I’m going to start a referendum to bring back the “old” Evilblog format. Or maybe I can file a cease and desist order…hmmmm.

    Sure is pretty tho.

  12. Ian said,

No need for a referendum. Just go write the stylesheet and various page templates for me so they work with the updated WordPress. I’ll even give you the old ones to start from.

‘Till then, I’ll be using an easy template.

  13. Adam said,

Hey, I like this one. I understand the migration thing though, I found it easier to just completely start from scratch than to migrate an existing theme (plus, designing new things is fun!)

  14. Liza said,

Why don’t we make a deal where you can keep this format if you update your blog more often, eh? Some people are bored.

Also, in response to an earlier post of yours, the writers of Freakonomics are going to be in SoCal on Wed., July 27. Thought you may be interested. More info available on http://www.freakonomics.com
